TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Potential participants are fully responsible for making their travel and accommodation arrangements, and should note that the WIETE will not take any responsibility or be held accountable for any cancellation of accommodation and travel tickets due to any unforeseen events that may cause the Conference to be cancelled, postponed or transferred to another location. The WIETE accepts no responsibility whatsoever for their direct dealings with the Hotel and/or any other organisations. It is highly advisable that potential participants should avoid purchasing non-refundable flight tickets.

ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION

The WIETE was able to negotiate an excellent deal on behalf of Conference participants with the Cinnamon Residence, Bangkok, a 3*+ hotel, which will provide the Conference venue and will accommodate Conference participants at highly reduced and competitive prices.

It is envisaged that the Conference Registration Fee package, including single/twin/double-bed accommodation for five nights in a double-bed room (with full breakfast) and other services, will be $A1,250. This will provide participants with the opportunity of free accommodation and breakfast for their spouses, if they wish to attend.

Under this agreement, the Hotel will also assist Conference participants with their transportation from and to the airport (at a low price), tourist and travel arrangements, for instance by organising pre- and post-Conference tours. Moreover, participants will be able to extend their accommodation in the Hotel at the room rates as per the Conference arrangements in order to help those planning to prolong their stay in Thailand. Conference participants are encouraged to seriously consider this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The number of rooms under this deal is strictly limited. Therefore, potential participants should register with full payment at their earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.
